Product Description
After more than half a century the icon of Polish design made a remarkable comeback – an armchair designed by Roman Modzelewski in 1958. All of this thanks to the company VZÓR which aims at ‘restoring’ the forgotten Polish design for people sensitive to its beauty. The RM58 armchair was the first item introduced into serial production, and its ground-breaking (at that time) technology and timeless, minutely developed form were recognizable to all design enthusiasts, not only in Poland. Today, this armchair is produced in rotational moulding technology using polyethylene. The RM58 classic has a varnished, high-gloss seat available in several original colours. The manufacturer also offers the armchair RM58 mat in which the seat – in addition to its matte finish – has also an additional functionality – the armchair can be used outdoors. This model is offered by Rent Design in three colours: black, white and red. Both models have steel, powder-coated black legs. The RM58 armchair gives a unique opportunity for unparalleled interior arrangements in not only private, but also public spaces. Its expressive form, full of character, is an invitation to creating unique spaces. The fact that the production of the RM58 model was resumed can be considered a dream come true for its designer. It is also a dream come true for many of us. The RM58 production based on new material and technology, started by the company VZÓR, gives us every opportunity to get fully acquainted with the RM58 – not only to see how beautiful is its form, but also to sit comfortably. The classic is back and everyone has an opportunity to see Polish design not only on exhibitions, but also in our houses or during events organized by our company.
